Long before Sedona was marked on any map…

Before it became a retreat center, a spiritual destination, or a place of mystic tourism…

It was - and still is - sacred ancestral land.

This region is the ancestral homeland of several Native American peoples, including:

• The Yavapai-Apache Nation

• The Hopi

• The Navajo (Diné)

• The Zuni

• And the Southern Sinagua, ancestors of the Pueblo people.

These peoples have walked this land for thousands of years, praying, harvesting, singing, and keeping sacred connection with the land, water, sky, and spirit.

Their presence is not past - it is living memory, echoing in every stone and wind song.

🪶 Ways We Can Honor Ancestors of the Land:

1. Acknowledge the Land:

Always begin any ceremony, retreat, or gathering with a Land Acknowledgment.

Honor the Yavapai-Apache and other ancestral tribes who lived and cared for this sacred ground.

2. Support Native Communities:

Donate to, volunteer with, or amplify the work of Native-led organizations in Arizona and the Southwest.

3. Include Indigenous Voices:

Invite Native elders, wisdom keepers, or storytellers to share their songs, stories, and truths (when welcomed and appropriate).

4. Do Not Appropriate Sacred Ways:

Not all ceremonies are ours to use. If you are not of a lineage, do not replicate their sacred traditions without invitation. Instead, learn, listen, and walk in humility.

5. Walk with Reverence:

Every rock formation, spring, and cliff may be a sacred site.

Move through the land as though you are walking through a holy temple - because you are.

Ancient Prophecies, Living Temples

Many Native Elders speak of Sedona as a prophetic site - a place where Earth energies, star wisdom, and human evolution meet.

The Hopi Prophecy speaks of the “Emerging Fifth World” - a new era of balance, peace, and harmony rising after great imbalance.

Sedona, in this vision, is part of the Sacred Hoop - a circle of energy that is healing and reconnecting.

In many oral traditions, Sedona is known as:

• A birthing place of star beings

• A gateway to other realms

• A place of healing and vision quests

Their stories match the Lemurian memories and galactic connections spoken by mystics - showing that Earth’s ancient wisdom has always carried the same truth, through different tongues.

You do not need to become Native to honor the Native ways. But you must walk humbly.

You must remember you are a guest on sacred land.

We ask to be shown what is ready to be seen.

May all energies we carry be cleared and transmuted. Bless us space with clarity. Surround us with light. Let all that unfolds here be of service to the Whole. We walk in gratitude.

Are You Allowed to Channel Native American Prayers?

If you are truly in devotion and service, then yes - but with discernment, reverence, and boundaries:

✔️ You are allowed to:

• Receive transmissions directly from the Earth and Spirit of the Land

• Channel new prayers in alignment with the frequency of the ancestors

• Act as a Sacred Listener and messenger of the Earth

• Share wisdom as a bridge, not as a “teacher” of Native traditions

• Use your gifts to inspire others to honor the land in their own way

✖️ You must be cautious not to:

• Claim to represent any specific tribe or speak on their behalf

• Use or mimic specific, closed ceremonial practices (e.g. sweat lodges, smudging rituals, etc.) that require traditional initiation

• Commercialize sacred tools or language without permission

• Romanticize or stereotype Indigenous culture

Instead, you are invited to become a vessel of remembrance, transmitting the essence of universal Earth devotion that resonates with the Native codes, without taking from them.

Wise women from many lineages once walked here, blessing children beneath canyon stars, singing to the soil, and tending the sacred fire of life.They are the memory of womb wisdom, of night prayers, and quiet strength.

2. The Fire-Keepers of the Canyons

These were the male guardians of the land - keepers of ancient stories, protectors of sacred law, and silent watchers of the portals between worlds. Their presence is not loud, but powerful.
They may appear in your dreams as eagles, hawks, or wind echoing through the canyon walls.

“The ones who remember will feel our presence in silence. We did not leave. We are the bones of this place.”

4. The Watersingers of the Cliffs

Some of the First People knew they came from other worlds.
The Hopi, Zuni, and other Native traditions speak of Star People - Pleiadian, Orion, and other visitors who once walked this land. They came to assist in the merging of Heaven and Earth. If you carry Lemurian memory or galactic codes, this land may activate you.

4. The Watersingers of the Cliffs

Before colonization, water ceremonies and elemental priestess lineages were deeply rooted in this region. These are the spirits of the springs, creeks, and subtle songs - flowing mostly through feminine channels.
Their presence may come through sound, stillness, or in a silence of your own remembrance.
