DIVINE MOTHER ALTARS OF SEDONA is a Movement by "Sedona Beloved" to Restore Earth-Based Spirituality & Beauty in Daily Life.
What Is This Movement?
Divine Mother Altars of Sedona is a living movement -
a call to remember what every ancient culture once knew:
that Spirit lives in the Earth, and it is through beauty, devotion, and reverence that we stay connected to the sacred.
This offering is an invitation for both locals and visitors to co-create simple, heartfelt altars to the Divine Feminine - in their homes, gardens, porches, trails, and gathering spaces - reawakening a shared culture of daily devotion to the Spirit of the Land.
These altars are not about religion.
They are about remembrance.
They are about choosing to live in harmony with something greater.

Long before Sedona became a destination for tourists and surface-level exploration, it was a sacred temple - an altar of the Divine Mother Herself. In the ancient times, Indigenous tribes would journey for days or weeks across vast lands to come here for one sacred reason: to commune with the Holy. They came to give birth, to die, to pray, to heal, to receive visions, and to align their lives with Spirit. They knew what many have forgotten - that this land is alive, and that it holds the codes of remembrance for humanity’s divine origin.
They never claimed ownership. They never took from her.
They honored her as a Mother, a Guardian, a Temple.
Today, as it becomes a casual backdrop for selfies and commercial hikes, the deeper truth of Sedona remains unshaken, hidden beneath red rocks and sacred winds, waiting to be remembered and revered.
This land has not lost her power. She has only grown more activated - her vortexes more open, her mountains more awake, her rivers more crystalline with divine memory. We need not worship externally, but to kneel with reverence before a living altar is an act of divine alignment. Sedona is not a destination. She is a Living Temple. She is the body of the Divine Mother, and to walk here is to walk upon sacred ground. It is time to remember. It is time to return. It is time to protect what is holy.
The red rocks still breathe. The vortexes still swirl with cosmic intelligence. The creeks still sing the names of the holy.
The Divine Mother has never left.
She is still here, watching, waiting, whispering -
“Who among you will remember me?
Who will restore the Temple?
Who will protect the living altar of Earth?
Take a moment to imagine…
In Bali, offerings of flowers, fruit, and incense are placed at temple gates, doorsteps, tree roots, and rivers multiple times a day - a gesture of reverence to the Earth spirits and a reminder that all life is sacred. It is woven into the culture - not as obligation, but as beauty. As alignment.
Now imagine…
This is what we’re planting here in Sedona.
This is how the Mother returns.

A culture rooted in reverence, simplicity, and beauty;
where daily life becomes ceremony, where business reflects integrity, where nature is honored as teacher, and where the sacred is not separated from the ordinary, but woven through it.
It is a return to what we’ve always known deep down -
that we are here to live with care, create with purpose,
and walk with the Earth, not just upon it.
This is the culture of the Golden Era.
A culture of devotion, dignity, and divine embodiment.
And it begins with how we live, how we love, and how we bow.

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to forget what matters.
We scroll. We consume. We rush.
But something inside us still longs to slow down… to feel something deeper.
That’s where altars come in. Altars are not just decoration.
They’re not religious. They’re not about rules or dogma.
An altar is a pause. A place to remember.
A space to breathe. It can be as simple as a candle on your kitchen table, a flower by your bed, or a few stones and prayers laid gently on a walk through the red rocks.
Each altar says:
“I see the sacred in this moment.”
“I choose to live with intention.”
“I remember that beauty, peace, and presence matter.”
When you build an altar - to the Earth, to the Divine, or to your own heart - you are planting a seed of remembrance in the world.
Altars don’t need to be fancy.
They just need to be true.
They are:
In Sedona, we invite you to co-create small altars to the Earth and Divine Mother - not to impress, but to honor. To remember that the land is alive, and you are part of it. This is not about being spiritual.
This is about being human again. Being kind. Being present.
Being in awe of this beautiful life.

You can create your altar anywhere —
In your home, your garden, your shop, your studio,
or even on a street corner or forest trail (with care and respect for the land).
• Candle – The Flame of Remembrance
Light a small flame to symbolize your soul and intention.
• Flower or Rose – The Beauty of the Divine Feminine
Fresh or dried, a blossom carries frequency. It blesses the space.
• Rock, bowl of water, or sacred soil – An Offering to Gaia
Return something to the Earth. Ground your prayer in the elements.
• Symbols – Shells, feathers, spirals, goddess figures, crystals, or photos.
Choose what speaks to your soul. Let it be personal.
• Prayer or Intention – Write or whisper a blessing.
For your family. For the land. For the future of humanity.
There is no wrong way to do this — only sincerity.

Help inspire others to create their own.
Create from your Heart. Offer from your Soul.
Imagine… Altars glowing in every window, studio, and café...
Little flower bundles tied to trees on the trail... A town that feels like a living temple - not because of money or marketing,
but because the people are in love with the Earth again!
LET US MAKE SEDONA HOLY AGAIN, not just a tourist destination…
but a City of Devotion. A living offering to the Mother.
One altar at a time...

Whether you live in Sedona or are just passing through —
whether you're spiritual, creative, a healer, a parent, or simply someone who cares - this is your chance to participate in something beautiful and unifying.
You don’t need to know how.
You only need to care enough to begin.
A stone. A petal. A prayer. That’s all it takes.
Let us make this land shimmer with offerings of love,
and restore a shared memory:
That we belong to the Earth.
That beauty is holy.
And that the way forward begins with a bow to the Mother.

This is an invitation to slow down…
to remember what truly matters…
to bring more beauty and care into the world — starting right where you are.
Tend the Flame
Light a candle with intention.
Let it be a small reminder that something sacred lives inside you.
This simple flame can bring peace, warmth, and presence into your home - or your day.
Create the Altar
An altar can be anything - a table, a windowsill, a tree stump, a quiet corner on a trail.
Place a flower. A photo. A stone. A prayer. It’s not about religion. It’s about remembering. Creating an altar is a way to say:
“I care. I’m here. I honor the Earth. I honor Life.”
Walk in Beauty
Choose to see the sacred in your surroundings.
Pick up trash on the trail. Smile at a stranger. Offer a prayer with your footsteps. Walking in beauty is a way of living with kindness, with presence, with respect for all beings.
Build an altar for yourself - in your home, garden, or favorite outdoor space.
Share it with others - post a photo, tell a friend, invite someone to pause.
Bless one you find - offer a flower, a word of thanks, a moment of silence.
This is how we change the energy of a place.
One act of beauty at a time.
Let this city become a Cathedral of the Mother -
Altar by altar. Prayer by prayer. Hand by hand.
Together, we can help this land be loved and respected again.

She who now calls us home.”
Ring bells or chimes.
Offer rose petals to the earth.
2. BREATH OF THE EARTH
All place one hand on the Heart, one on the Earth.
“Mother, breathe through me. Let me remember You.
Let this land know that I am here, In reverence, in beauty, in care.”
Together: 3 deep Earth breaths - inhale from Earth, exhale in blessing.
3. INVOCATION OF THE DIVINE MOTHER
“Great Mother,
Lady of the Womb,
Keeper of the Red Rocks,
Voice of the Caves,
Fire of the Mountains,
Water of the Springs,
We invoke You now.
Speak through our hands,
Build altars through our hearts,
Let Sedona remember You.”
Offer flowers, sacred herbs, incense, feathers, or soil to the center altar.
