But there is something we need to talk about.
Sedona is not just a backdrop for your photos or a bucket-list destination. It is one of the most energetically and ecologically sensitive places in North America. And right now, she is hurting.
The Reality On the Ground:
Each summer, crowds pour in. Music blasts from speakers on sacred trails. Food is grilled and discarded on ancient rocks. Oil and sunscreen are poured into the waters of Oak Creek - one of the most precious and endangered waterways in the Southwest. People leave garbage. People carve their names into canyon walls. People walk off trail and damage fragile ecosystems that take decades to repair. This isn’t just careless. It’s disrespectful. And it must change.
The Invitation
Sedona needs to be honored.
If you come here, come with humility. Come as if you are entering a sacred temple - because you are.

It means asking: What am I giving back? How can I protect what has given me so much?

• Recognizing Sedona as a living being - with Her own Spirit, intelligence, and history.
• Leaving no trace - physically, energetically, and spiritually.
• Giving back - through prayer, presence, energy, and conscious reciprocity.
• Listening to the land before taking photos, performing ceremonies, or entering hidden places.
• Turning off loud music in nature
• Not pouring oils, sunscreens, or substances into creeks
It means realizing that just because it’s beautiful, doesn’t mean it’s yours to consume.
Sedona is not a backdrop. She is a teacher. A healer. A Mother.
And she responds to your energy. Treat her well, and she will awaken something eternal within you.

1. Walk Lightly, Tread Reverently.
Whether on a trail or on sacred red rock, remember that every step is a prayer. Avoid stepping off paths unnecessarily. Do not pick wild plants, stack rocks, or leave offerings that don’t biodegrade. The land already holds the prayer - no need to impose.
2. No Loud Music or Disrespectful Behavior in Nature.
Let Sedona’s silence speak. The vortexes sing in the stillness. Please keep voices soft and music sacred. Do not play commercial or disruptive sound in nature. This land is not a stage - it is a sanctuary.
3. Honor Native and Spiritual Heritage.
Sedona holds deep Native American, Lemurian, and interdimensional lineages. It is not your playground. It is not for “content.” Before performing any ceremony or recording video, tune into the land and ask for permission. Be a guest, not a taker.
4. Offer Prayer, Not Projection.
Do not come to Sedona to “manifest your reality” by overriding the land’s energy. Come to align, not to conquer. Speak prayers from the heart. Offer gratitude. Leave energy cleaner than you found it.
5. Support Local & Ethical Businesses.
Invest in those who walk in integrity. Many light workers, healers, and conscious entrepreneurs live and serve here. Choose them. Buy local. Support those whose mission is service to the land, not exploitation of it.
A Note to Influencers, Healers, and Travelers
If you come here to lead a retreat, film content, do plant medicine ceremonies, or hold space for others — you must operate from the highest ethical integrity.
This includes:
• Getting proper permits for land use
• Not exploiting sacred vortexes for profit
• Clearing your energy before offering to others
• Honoring and not mimicking Indigenous practices
• Respecting local community boundaries
We are not here to police you. But the Council of Light is watching.
