There is so much to explore!
Whether you're here for a day or a lifetime, Sedona reveals itself in layers, inviting you to explore more, connect deeper, and come home to yourSelf.
✦ What Makes the Town So Special?

Nestled at the base of Thunder Mountain in West Sedona, hidden just off a quiet trail, lies one of Sedona’s most sacred treasures - the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park.
Here, among towering red cliffs and whispering juniper trees, a Buddhist stupa rises in radiant stillness, its white dome crowned with golden symbols of awakening. It is not just a monument - it is a living field of prayer, magnetized with decades of devotion, spiritual ceremony, and global peace intentions.
This land is blessed. This stupa is alive. And for many who visit, it becomes a turning point on their spiritual path.
The Amitabha Stupa is not a tourist attraction.
It is a temple under open sky. It is a field of devotion where all paths are honored - where tears, silence, prayer, joy, and reverence are all welcome. People from all over the world have walked this sacred circle. And yet, it remains untouched by commercialization - kept pure by those who remember what it is:
A place to bow. A place to listen. A place to return to your soul.
2650 Pueblo Drive, Sedona, AZ 86336
Hours: Open daily, from dawn until dusk

In Buddhist tradition, a stupa is a sacred structure built to house enlightened relics and radiate blessings of compassion, wisdom, and liberation to all beings. It is not meant to be entered - but to be walked around with reverence, in clockwise circles, as a form of active prayer or meditative pilgrimage.
The Amitabha Stupa in Sedona is 36 feet tall and dedicated to Amitabha Buddha, the Buddha of Infinite Light. Within it are blessed relics, mantras, and sacred offerings placed by ordained masters to continuously transmit peace, healing, and enlightenment into the world.
A Portal of Peace - The moment you enter the Peace Park, time slows. Many report a profound shift - calmness in the heart, tears rising, a deep return to inner stillness.
Active Prayer – Walk around the stupa with sacred intention, spinning the prayer wheels as you go. Each step becomes a moving meditation, dissolving karma, quieting the mind, and aligning you with the Light.
Offerings & Silence – Visitors often bring flowers, stones, written prayers, incense, or simple presence. The space welcomes all paths, all traditions - without dogma.
Guarded by the Mountain – With Thunder Mountain standing as its majestic backdrop, this site feels protected by the Earth herself.
Whether you’re a long-time seeker or a curious traveler, the Amitabha Stupa offers something beyond words. It does not ask you to believe - it simply invites you to feel.
And in that silence… You may remember who you truly are.
• Come during early morning or sunset for soft light and quieter energy
• Walk the stupa in silence, if possible - at least for the first few rounds
• Bring a prayer or intention and let the Earth hold it for you
• Offer something from your heart (even a breath of gratitude)

High above the red rocks, cradled by the arms of towering formations, stands one of Sedona’s most iconic sacred landmarks—the Chapel of the Holy Cross. Built directly into the red cliffs in 1956, this stunning architectural masterpiece is not only a marvel of design - it is a living symbol of faith, peace, and Presence.
The Chapel feels less like a man-made structure and more like a celestial portal - a bridge between Earth and Sky.
As you ascend the winding path to its doors, there’s a palpable shift: the air grows still, the heart opens, and something greater begins to speak from within.
While the Chapel is rooted in Christian inspiration, its energy transcends any one faith. It is a sanctuary for all hearts - welcoming seekers, lovers, elders, children, and pilgrims of every path.
You may find yourself lighting a candle.
You may find yourself in tears. You may find yourself remembering the deeper reason you came to Sedona in the first place.

The Chapel of the Holy Cross is not just built into the rock…
It is etched into the soul of Sedona.
Let it be part of your journey. Let it be a mirror of your own inner sanctuary. Let it remind you that the holiest temples are both around us - and within us.

Nestled under the canopy of sycamore trees and along the flowing creekside, Tlaquepaque (pronounced Tlah-keh-pah-keh) is more than a shopping destination—it is one of Sedona’s most iconic sacred-cultural spaces. For nearly 50 years, this village has offered visitors a portal into beauty, craftsmanship, and the soul of artistic expression.
Originally envisioned as an artist’s community, Tlaquepaque was lovingly crafted to mirror a traditional Mexican village. With its cobblestone walkways, stucco archways, vibrant courtyards, and hand-painted tiles, every step invites the visitor to slow down, breathe, and take in the sacred artistry of place. It is one of the only commercial spaces in Sedona that was designed to honor the land, weaving with the natural trees and stone, rather than clearing them.
Let this be more than a stop on your itinerary - let it be a moment of pause… of joy… of wonder.
Tlaquepaque reminds us that life itself is a work of art, and that beauty, when created from the heart, becomes a prayer.

Wandering through the village is a multisensory journey:

While Uptown is known for its tourist shops and crystal boutiques, there’s a growing wave of conscious, grounded, and heartful businesses that give this area a real sense of soul.
Here are some of our favorite stops:
One of Uptown’s newest and most elevated restaurants, Wildcraft is bringing farm-to-table, forager-style dining to Sedona. With herbal elixirs, wild mushroom dishes, and beautifully plated local fare, it’s quickly become a local favorite.
Tucked behind the main strip, this humble food truck serves up some of the best authentic tacos in Sedona. Don’t miss the shrimp or carne asada tacos - delicious, quick, and infused with flavor.
Across the street from Wildcraft Kitchen, this Ayurvedic-inspired food truck serves nourishing Indian cuisine. From veggie samosas to golden dahl and flavorful curries, it's a hidden gem for those seeking real food that fuels the soul.
This cozy coffee stop (yes, Cuptown, not a typo!) offers espresso, baked goods, and a casual outdoor seating area where locals and travelers mingle. It’s the kind of place where you’ll overhear conversations about vortexes, real estate, or someone's latest spiritual awakening.
MORE SOON!
Because Uptown is a living mosaic of individually owned shops, eateries, and galleries, hours may gently vary - yet the pulse of the day generally flows as follows:
• Shops & Boutiques
Most open their doors around 10 AM, welcoming wanderers, seekers, and gift-givers until early evening, though some stay open later when the flow of hearts and footsteps calls for it.
• Dining & Sacred Nourishment
Restaurants and cafés often remain open into the early evening (6–9 PM) depending on the season and day, offering warm meals, scenic views, and soul-satisfying delights.
• Peak Times
Uptown blossoms midday through evening, especially during the height of Sedona’s visitor seasons - when energy is high, the sun paints the red rocks in gold, and the town comes alive.

Sedona is a landscape of light - but its town is the hearth. It is where sacred meets everyday, where community meets creativity, and where travelers often find exactly what their soul was looking for… sometimes in the most unexpected of places.
Explore. Discover. Connect. Return.
